This is a blog maintained by a group of middle schoolers who care about the Diamondback Terrapin and are located in Stamford, CT. We work closely with Sound Waters to do what we can to make a difference and secure a safe future for this important organism.

This looked even smaller in person! it moved even faster than it does in the video
the baby terrapin only weighs 0.5 llb.
Since that terrapin is a female it will grow up to 6-9 inches! I cant believe that they can grow so big. I love this blog it has so much activities and information to learn about terrapins.

the baby terrapin starts out grey but becomes black, brown, and yellow too.
